El amor – "Love" in Spanish – Southern sydney wedding photographer
November 21, 2010I met this lovely little family nearly 12 months ago when i did their daughters 1 year old session, then they asked me to be their wedding photographer and boy did i jump at the chance.. Their daughter was such a character all the way back in feb and to see her again dressed up in her little flowers dress was priceless.. Plus this lovely couple feel like long lost friends, you know the feeling you get when you meet someone and you feel like you’ve just always been mates… This is exactly how i felt and the wedding day was just that. Both Michael and myself were treated as if we were part of the family. It was a total privilege to watch these two be married, their love for one another and their daughter as well as their friends and family was incredible to watch..
I am not an overly emotional person but i found myself constantly in tears during the ceremony and then the speeches were amazing.. so much emotion and when the groom spoke to his parents in spanish, even though i had no idea what he was saying i could feel the love and utmost respect for his parents and again i teared up.. In fact i think i spent most of the day with a lump in my throat…
Each wedding that i do there is a standout , some the dancing photos are the funniest part of the day, others is the ceremony but for me the standout was the formals as it was set in the most amazing location and then the speeches, the emotion on the bride and groom’s face is just so lovely. Have a look below and you’ll see what i’m talking about.. Thanks so much guys, we both loved being a part of your day and hope you have a great time away..
