It’s finally happened.. we have not been into dress ups AT ALL… and now finally the moment has arrived.  Yesterday we bought noah a superman outfit, caleb insisted that he didn’t want one but today there were fights as caleb decided that he too wanted to be superman.. and with one outfit it make life very interesting.  We had a lovely day , after caleb  having his operation yesterday for his grommets he is a changed little boy.  He has been off for a few weeks now as he couldn’t hear and had constant ear infections and now he is bouncing off the walls.  We had a big day, went to gymnastics, played in the backyard in a massive puddle that we made, stomped around in their gumboots, climbed the swing in out superman cape, then we went collecting snails and worms. Oh the life of a boy, just grand it was.  And once again i was quietly in the background snapping away and having a lovely time watching them being superheros..  I feel very safe in this house with a husband who is a rescue officer, 2 superheros and one semi guard dog.  Today i noticed Jeddah doing the gundog stance which is what german short hair pointers do, pointing at something, i couldn’t tell what it was , was it a snake, a bird, no it was a butterfly!!!  Yes doing well with the hunting she is!!

Every year 4 families make the trek away for the weekend, each year it has grown from 5 kids to 8, such great friends , a real sense of community living.  There are 3 x 4 year olds, 2 x 5 year olds, 1 at 18 months, the other at 20 months and the last one at 6 months.  It’s so lovely to see everyone taking care of each others kids, playing board games with the older ones, chasing the younger ones and don’t mention the “bear hunt” that caused noah to go into a meltodown!!!   and of course taking photos of them!!! My new lens got a great work out on the weekend, and with 8 kids to take photos of i was just in heaven.  Plus a great lush location at Berry  along with perfect weather  and stax of amazing food .  Here are a few of my fav’s from the weekend:

well once again life is never dull in the tindale house, this is what our week has been like:

monday : caleb has ear infection and conjunctivitis

tuesday: brewsters wakes up feeling sick, within 30 minutes he is in the ambulance and off to hospital with an irregular heart rhythm, 50 million drugs later to try to get his heart back in the right rhythm and no success. They thought it might be another clot on his lung…  Drag both boys off to see him in pouring rain only to get there and be turned away as he was having tests done.. Eventually get to see him but he was still very sick.

wednesday:  go to visit brewster expecting him to be in there for days and he was given the all clear at 9am.. he could come home!!!!!  yahhh..  i think the fact that 7 of our friends went and prayed for him the night before has a lot to do with it….He still  needs to go in for some more tests to work out what the cause has been but at this stage he is all good.  Caleb then goes and has a sleep over with his nanny.

Thursday:  off to hospital for noah at 6.30, he needed squint surgery to fix his turn in both of his eyes, such a brave boy did really well until it was time for the gas and then i nearly cried watching that part, just not nice to see them so scared.. I tried to help with saying that the massive big light thing in the operating theatre was like the round rocket in star wars but he wasn’t buying that.  But after 4 hours later and still not opening his eyes we are home, poor darling he has very sore eyes and is just cranky as you would be.  Caleb is due home soon which will be sweet as they haven’t been separated over night before.

Anyway i have no photos as yet of noahs eyes , maybe tomorrow so i had to dig out a few oldies for todays post.. Again thanks for your thoughts and prayers and all the texts it really has meant a lot to me over the past few days.. We have felt very loved by everyone..

brave noah 1 of 1 1024x682 one very brave little boy.. love you noah..
